Hi guys,
I decided to uproot and move to Florida. But my bobbed Deuce isn't exactly ready for the miles I'd put on her to get her to Kissimmee. Anyone do truck hauling that travels there? If not, does anyone suggest a company to haul it and possible cost?
Thanks
Cam
Hey guy. I am by no means a mechanic. And I was wondering how to tell if the inner seal is good or needs replaced when I do my dry rotted boot. Lack of gear oil in the cv area enough to justify leaving it alone?
So, I was driving my deuce bobber home from getting a full bumper put on the back and she stalls out going up a steep hill to my place. This is the second time a hill has stalled her out. Suggestions on what to look for? I'm not very diesel inclined yet.
Hey guys. Finally found a deuce front suspension kit I can afford. But I have to get it from a member in skook, Pa to alabaster, al. Anybody going through that route?
Finally found deuce front assembly parts I can afford buy need to get them from Pa to Al. Anyone know a good freight shipper near shook, Pa that is cheap?
IM taking my deuce apart for Modding. I don't have a cutting torch. So i an having to wrench off old bolts. Anyone got an easy way to remove the drivers side tool box without destroying the mount. I am not going to use it anymore. Is it even worth trying to save for selling or trade?
Checked bobbing posts till i was physically tired and haven't seen this yet. Has anyone tied to use the large plates between deuce RANDOMS as a bolting point for mounting m105 leaf springs with frame attached? The crescent shaped leaf stops on the m105 frames measure out to be able to stradle...

I searched the TM's and didnt find what i was looking for. So, here goes: Does anyone have the spec's on the step behind the bumper/on either side of the winch for canadian m35a2c's? I want to get some fabbed for my deuce.
I was at the Circle K scrap yard (in calera, alabama) today and the owner had to show me his green steel after i drove up in mine. He has two M35a3 that look in dang good shape. One is camo with no top that he says runs very great (its a fifth wheel deuce). And the other is a red fire department...
My wife just had her third surgery in a years time. looks like i may need to sell my deuce bed or scrap it. This saddens me but "Them's the grits." Any clue how much a deuce bed would be worth to a scrap yard or would i get more for it by selling it?
Thanks for the input,
Cam h.
I found a site "Cablecraft" that has an x-y adapter to replace the section where the stick shift is housed. it redirects the shifting through a cable system to any location you want in the cab. they have very limited info on spicer transmissions. the issue is they dont wish to send me the wrong...
Anyone know of a substitute for the military power steering unit that will fit the m35a2? We have a you pull it type parts lot near by and I'd love to do that versus buy one NOS.
My deuce drove just fine on my way from florida (where i bought her) and the generator put out plenty of juice. But i try to crank her and she won't. The starter tries to turn o er but volts are low. Tried charging both batteries, replaced ground wire and terminal connectors. But she still wont...
