LITD, yes the bases are 1/2" NPT and i think the 90's were 1/4" NPT??? i'll go see if i have one laying around in the garage somewhere that i can confirm.... I'm pretty sure i got the reducers from Lowes, so its a common size.... (i think)
I agree with you Guy that its good to have a filter that has a clear bowl so you can keep an eye on it. I have added some like the attached pic to my smaller tractors that surprisingly don't come with good filters. But working with large heavy equipment i have learned that it seems you can't...
I don’t recall right now if I needed anything special or adapters, I’ll go look at it in the morning. I think i reused the fittings from the stock filters and just used some reducers for the 90’s to fit the bases. But I’ll get you a definite answer tomorrow.
Here's what i did.
WIX 33405/ NAPA 3405 - 14 Micron Fuel/Water Separator Filter
WIX 33352/NAPA 3352 - 6 Micron Filter
NAPA GOLD 4770 - Remote Mount Spin-On Filter Bases
I also found a 2 micron filter after i ordered the others that i will get for spare.
WIX 33528/NAPA 3528 - 2 Micron Filter
I think both are good. But as 155 mentioned, (scan 2) i think its better to have the info under the column headers. It's easier for most to filter if using Excel that way. For example, you can filter the "Oil Filters" column by alphabetical order or if you only want to see the Donaldson...
I also wanted to thank all the guys that have contributed to this fix. I have found the Roto-mold fitting with o-ring on Amazon for $16 with free shipping to help others. i have ordered a few for mine.
Ace Roto-Mold 1/4" Brass Bulkhead Fitting (Includes Viton O-Ring) #10897...
One suggestion if you haven't tried it yet and if it will work with your front end plans, would be to move the generator location to one side and not in the center and see if that helps. Also as suggested by others, using wood mounting with stall mat isolation along with location change might help.
I'm actually going through the exact same thing with a few 802's i got recently that aren't running. I'm tearing them down to replace most worn/rotten items. As an Engineer myself, seeing how these are designed and put together, its clear to me that the folks that designed these intentionally...
Yes, it’s referred to as a passive antenna system, where the signal outside is fed into the box/building through the outside antenna, through the coax and out the inside antenna. It’s also a duplex situation that your phone transmits back out to the tower in reverse. It’s best to make sure the...
Awesome! I think once you get it dialed in and can offer it at a good price, you should have lots of interest in it. Especially if it’s anything like your 831 controllers. Great work.
Sorry, I was meaning did you use his meter on your house power to see if it was steady or fluctuating like on the Generator. That would give you confirmation that his meter is acting up or the generator output could be.
Did you happen to see what his bouncing meter read plugged into your house line voltage? That would be a way to test both his meter and your kill-a-watt.
I just picked up my 831A, it looks rough on the outside but everything appears to be there, nothing missing. I’ll go through it this week, but i’m game for one controller when you get them dialed in. Probably better to have a known good one for spare or to run It instead of factory.
I have the decal kit from JimC, it's great. If you just need a certain one, shoot him a pm and see what he can do, he has every label on the 002/003's. He said they are good for 10 years or more outdoors, 3M materials.
Yup. Fantastic invention. If you are doing more than 15 of them at one time, I would recommend getting a pneumatic rivet gun for them or a large two handed manual one cause trying to squeeze a small rivnut gun a bunch will kill your hands.... :D I don't have a great close photo of mine installed...
