    Injector return hoses

Just installed the badger diesel lines I purchased via eBay. Hopefully they aren't crap.

What did you do to your trailer today.

You know, I don't know why, but a 9/16 washer still won't for far enough down on the bolt. I just used a 5/8 from a harbor freight washer assortment and it fixed it right up. Of course it's leaking from the flared compression fitting now but it will have to wait to be fixed. Tiny leak and brakes...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Perfect, thank you. Surprisingly the fans only run for five or ten minutes before turning off automatically. Kinda neat, makes it sound like a fancy new car.

    M101A2 bearings quite warm

They are definitely packed with grease, and there is only the slightest amount of play. To remove the play I might have to go past finger tight and that feels like it might be too tight.

    M101A2 bearings quite warm

Today I took a fully loaded M101A2 for a 15 mile round trip, fully loaded (2250 lbs) and when I got back I checked the hubs as I had just installed new bearings. They were quite warm. Not too hot to hold on to but almost. In my experience, this is not a good sign. I went home and double checked...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Finished up the cooling system upgrades. Managed to overlook the fact that the electric fans were hooked to the thermostat and constant 12v, so they stay running even after the truck turns off. Without a pump moving the coolant to the fans thermostat it might be awhile before they turn off on...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Not at all, any stains will just get it closer to tank/brown/black, all of which are acceptable colors! New radiator installed along with electric fans, HMMWV crossover installed as well as paradox kit. Just need to get a few misc items in the morning and I'll be back on the road soon !

Picked my seat up from upholstery shop. He did pretty good for just being shown a picture and going with the materials I picked out! Even installed the heated seat elements I supplied :D

What did you do to your trailer today.

Croft has the rearmost washer listed as 9/16. I grabbed a pack from O'reilly's, still too small. I re-anealed and sanded the other one but it still leaked. Slower this time though! Ended up ordering a new bolt, washers, and the little block the brake line connects to, just in case. I don't have...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Yesterday was driver side rear brakes, new wheel cylinder, and bearing repack, did the passenger side a few months ago. Also changed diff fluid and found out one of the plates in the clutch pack for the front posi gave up on life: Also got the leaky radiator pulled and block heater...

M1028 metal shards in front diff, supposed to drive cross country in 4 days!

I see what you are saying. Glad we got it figured out. I didn't find any more metal in there. It's too bad I already refilled it with friction modifier!

M1028 metal shards in front diff, supposed to drive cross country in 4 days!

Snapped some pics. Everything looks good, I don't see anything alarming. There is just a tiny amount of freeplay between the ring and pinion gear which I believe is normal.

M1028 metal shards in front diff, supposed to drive cross country in 4 days!

No leaks, and it always seemed to work fine the few times I used it. Slim chance it was an extra washer or something but maybe, just maybe...

M1028 metal shards in front diff, supposed to drive cross country in 4 days!

Found these stuck to the magnet of the front diff: Everything else in the carrier looks fine. I don't see anything out of place. Any ideas what it could be? I'm not sure if I will have the time to get parts in before we hit the road (we're moving).

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Two of four seat mounting bolts are broken off... One was like that when I got the truck, I did the second one removing the seat. Both are on the drivers side. Got an easy out in one, and it is turning, but its so tight im afraid of the easy out breaking. Tomorrow is gonna be interesting...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Yup, had the same problem recently. Got a spectra three or four years ago, was fine. Started leaking about one day after the 2 year warranty was up. Couldn't find another. Ended up with a plastic/aluminum one which is going in this week.

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I was looking around the hinge mechanism on my seat and I found part of what looks to be the locking mechanism just flopping around in there. It's a little bar with that seems like it could crab the teeth on the seat back. It is clearly still missing some parts though.
