Find a trans from a civi truck that had a Cat engine with the same bolt pattern as the 3116. That way there is no need for adapters. The clutch linkage from an A2 should bolt directly in.
While I was told by the local Allison dealer not to go from.the.motor oil.to.the.transsyn, but.to Dextron3. I believe.it.is.safe.to.then go from.the.Dextron 3 to the Transyn. That is.what my father did on his Monaco motor home. At.which time.Allison did extend his trans warantee.
My A3 was sold by GL as an 98. However, when I registered it in NC, they (DMV) decided that it was a 93. Later I discovered the axle tags say 95. I'm happy to leave it a 93.
Yes, just put a resistor of the same, or slightly less value, as the light which was replaced with the LED, in parallel with each new LED. Make shure to have the correct wattage for your load resistors.
Most of the nation wide autoparts places will rent special tools. You should be able to rent a cooling system pressure tester really cheap. Do not hook up to a high pressure air source as all kinds of really bad things can happen.
