I DID flat tow my humvee about 60-70 miles when I moved from Flushing Mi to Lansing Mi. I did take the backroads and no highways and I have had no issues since the move in 2009. Just my two cents.

Does anyone lube their speedo cable for preventive reasons and if so what lube to you use? I see there is a graphite oil for cables and figured this spring it would not be a bad task to do. So I was just curious.
Can anyone tell me if the two pins that turn off the signal switch are designed to be replaceable? I had one wiggle free and I was about to glue it in but then thought perhaps the pins could wear out after time and be replaced vs the entire ring. Thoughts?

described below would be charged a substantial minimum lot charge in excess
of $1000.00 depending on how much handling is involved, but without seeing a
drawing with dimensions listed...
I did find Parker rust-proof of Cleveland and they do military coatings. I've emailed them to get more information. They have the tank size to do large parts. I'll post what they email me back when I get it.
