I have to say I would go with a 923A2. I just got one and LOVE it. I have a M52A2 which is basically the same size as a deuce but has a little more power and power steering and enjoyed learning about MV's with it. One problem I am having right now is parking. With my M52 being basically the...
There is an exemption in the city of El Paso for RV's. There is a way around my problem with my truck, but I would have to swap out the bed for an expansable van, put in a bed and bathroom and reregister it as an RV. Then regardless of weight I could have it in my driveway. I don't...
Hopefully it will all work out. If I had enough room at the house I would just build a garage big enough and park it in there that way it isn't seen and problem would be solved. Since I don't have that option though I will do my best to work it through the code enforcement office and if...
So this thread may be a duplicate from before but it is to hopefully help others with a similar situation in the future. Regardless of outcome I will keep this thread updated and let everyone know what happens.
So this morning I woke up to a code violation notice on my front door...
I will certainly ask him when I speak with him tomorrow. I never thought about that aspect of it being special interest vehicle. I am certainly trying to keep him on my side and work with him as much as possible. He seemed real at ease talking with me when the first thing I told him was I am...
I definitly will keep you posted. Hopefully I will know more tomorrow. I have read where others here have had the same problem. If there is no way around it I have somewhere I can park them, it just won't be as easy to get them as it would be if they are at my house. Hopefully things will...
This one isn't what I have done, but what I might have to do. I woke up today and had a code violation notice on my front door. Notice says the following:
20.08.010 Uses permitted per district. Heavy trucks and equipment are not permitted to be parked or stored in a residential district...
Now for the next adventure with the truck. I woke up this morning and had a code violation on my front door. Violation reads as follows:
20.08.010 Uses permitted per district heavy trucks and equipment are not permitted to be parked or stored in a residential district. Must remove within 10...
Well, I got the turn signal issue fixed. Turns out it was just a loose connection to the flasher relay. Tightened the connector a couple turns and everything works again.
Yeah. Lol. I had this happen to me before and the only way I was able to fix it was replace all the components. Granted it was an older truck so there wasnt a whole lot in between the components. I'm hoping this time it's just a loose connection or something. I didn't really get a chance to...
Well, the story of my life with MV's lol. I was out for a drive and the turn signals quit working on me. Was out driving for abut 30 minutes and a little over half way I went to turn and the light on the turn signal switch wouldn't flash, it lit up but didn't flash. I got it to the house and...
So this afternoon I knocked off two of the many things I want to do with my truck. I purchased a couple of lockable tool boxes for the bed and I swapped out the standard headlights for LED's. Still a bunch of stuff left I want to do but just take it a little at a time and everything will work out.
I will take a pic of my batteries tomorrow when there is some sun to see them. From what I have read on here there isn't much drawback of only 2 batteries. From the research I have done the main thing is to be sure to get two with plenty of cold cranking amps.
