My turn signals won't flash. I have swapped relays and still nothing. The only change that has been made is LED headlights. Will LED headlights cause turn signal problems? The signals still light up when I activate the turn signal switch but won't flash. I have checked my connections.
I still need to do a coolant system flush. Took my truck offroading a couple weeks ago and the shutterstat quit working on me. The truck started overheating and it was all just an orange/brownish color that was boiling out of the overflow. We bypassed the shutterstat and added the water we...
I charged each battery for about 40 minutes each using jumper cables and my silverado. Hooked everything back up and it seemed to work just fine. Battery gauge was in the green and it started just like it always does.
So stupid me... the other day when I installed my VIC-1 apparently I left the battery switch on so now I have 2 dead batteries and no way to jump it. Right now I have the crossover cable for the batteries disconnected and am using my Silverado to try and charge each battery individually so...
Got my VIC-1 installed yesterday. Mounted it to the back of the seat. Got my sugar scoop and standoff bracket in today. Just need the mounting bracket to mount my RT-524. After that I will start looking at paint. I'm also thinking about moving the batteries to the toolbox on the passenger...
Got my sugar scoop and standoff bracket in today. Plan on installing it in the next day or so. Just need to find the mounting brackets to be able to set up my RT-524. After that I will start looking at paint.
Installed my VIC-1. I have a two station unit at the moment, but plan on eventually making it a 4 station with a loud speaker and mic in the bed against the cab and another station with bail out cable and headset at the rear of the truck.
Check the power going to and from the 3 lever light switch. The turn signals feed through that. You could have a bad three lever light switch causing you problems.
I have already thought about a box in the bed. I had not however thought about one at the back passenger side for backing at night but that is an extremely good point and idea.
So now that (at least for now) my legal troubles with parking my truck at home are taken care of :naner::naner:, I'm going to start working on my additions to the truck.
My M923A2 is a soft top. I have a complete VIC-1 I want to install. Obviously if it was a hard top it would make it easier...
I am definitly willing to defend this victory. Thank you for the input on watching the council agenda. That is one thing that did not cross my mind.
The actions by code enforcement were due to a complaint. I know this as the officer told me so. The only thing is it was an anonymous...
Got the code violation issue taken care of and won that one.

Next thing is to get back to work since the turn signals went out again. Hopefully it is another loose connection I have missed...
For those who saw the issue I had earlier this week over me getting a code violation notice over my 5 ton the issue is over. Long story short... I came out victorious in this instance. I provided code compliance with all the necessary documents and information and I am allowed to keep my 5...
