    Looks like I have an 8" drum. My plan is to U it - build a winch mount that grabs both frame rails, mounts the feet of the inch by the front and also bolts to the bumper with the triangular gussets from the old bumper and the tow points. I also plan to mount the hood to it.

    I have this one - I took off the M932A2 winch, was going to mimic the plates I took off, but make it shorter. I also want the tow shackle points on the top and the bottom. ;)

    How's this going? I am replacing my M932A2's winch with an MRAP electric and the factory bumper with an MRAP bumper. Looked at it today and yes, it looks like getting rid of the hood mount makes it pretty easy to build a winch box.

    I'd change that in a heart beat. Mil spec'd 8 degrees of timing for our motors... most OEM's spec 16 degrees.

    They don't run on it, the change diesel into it, when they're not tuned right. :) Like the Brodozers do.

    I have a GT366SXE turbo, injectors, a2a charge air cooler with supporting timing modifications and it's finally safe enough to run down the road. Who wants to be my co-pilot? I still need to tune the injection pump, as it's "rolling coal", something I don't want to do.

    What does it take to put and RG31 bumper on a M939a2 series truck? Do you keep the tow point attachments?
