Passenger side looks modified. Unless they went bigger tires it should not of been an issue with tire rub but who know what they did to it. I still love it. When you get a chance see if you can get clearer pics and what is the tire size on back. Again, great job Sir.
If you can find a complete wiring harness from doner truck with a 6.2 in it you will be set. You will loose the black out lights and the glow plug controller is different. But you would have a civy harness and most had ac and cruise control. You could grab the climate controll stuff while...
It looked good in the pics at the auction site. It has a salvage title so I thought it would make a nice doner truck. I am glad to see it get used. We need more pics please..... Mainly how the rear wheels sit inside the wheel wells.
I would ask around about pulling one. I know they are wider than your m1008. Weight wouldnt be an issue and it should sit more level without the big tires. I have heard that the covers turn it into a big wind sail. LOL.
Hang in there Durango. This is what make these trucks so much fun. When you fix it all you know you did it. Thats what makes it your truck. Call me if you need anything.
I have heard the same as you. Good engine rebuilds with a warrenty to back them. I have not read any articles on them. If you want to save some money on a good running motor just PM me.
i will be watching this to. If I had the time I would try it. I have 1 crew cab now and a duelly deisel crew cab coming in next week. I have the parts but no time.
I have a couple 2009 m1101 trailers I need to get rid of. They have 265/75/16 tires instead of the humve tires. Anyone interested?
Ialso have a clean m1009 if I get the tranny fixed by then.
