Ok guys, after reading this I went and got all of the parts from a 1992 6.5. I am going to research this thread and others so I know what I am getting into. I would love to put this on my 1010 with a 700r4. Then I could use it to tow my 1009 to the rallies.

I pulled the voltmeter out of mt M1009 and put it in that truck. I also switched the relays out from my M1009. Nothing worked in it but it did in the Blazer. The back battery had 24 volts while running if my memery serves me right. I didnt see any blown fuses? The switch in the coluhm may...

Search GL. There is a thread on it now. Its hit or miss on there engines. I have an engine that runs and you can drive it but I cant part with it until spring. Keep your eyes open Cuda.

I have a 6.2 in a can waiting for spring. I am sure the moter is toast but the IP should be good. Mine looked well used and the flexplate was removed. I didnt pay much for it. So I know I canscrap it for my money back. I did have to do a EUC for it. I dont know why.

Hello, we have spoke before. I am glad you got a m1009. You will have fun with it.

I have the same issue. I took my cowl off and put seam sealer in the original areas. I was also told it will come through the vents in your kick panels. The seam sealer helped alot but there is some water that gets in.
