    Well, In the meantime, I figured it out, had 2 clips on the cab side of firewall, a scredriver and some needle nose pliers and ripped that old broken sucker out, and replaced with the new one.     It does not, Only time I've gotten it to go off is when I removed the switch , turned on, light went off, from what i read at least, that it's prob the switch, or least that's my best guess.
