I guess in the case of sealed bearing and u joints it would help keep water and moisture out by simply keeping a coating over the assembly, but I agree, it's a sealed ujoint so nothing is supposed to get it.

No one likes to stop what they're doing to take pictures, but a few years from now it will be cool to have documentation of everything you've done.
I think I was asked by about 12 people at work "what are you going to do with it?" I don't understand how someone can look at a m939 and not immediately have 1000 ideas of things to do.
I've offered to restore an old jeep for someone before that has been sitting in his barn for years. I was going to pay for new tires myself just to be able to drive it to shows. He said he wouldn't want to drive it anywhere.
