I personally liked the old pin-hole type lock best. The type you have with the open gaps and such are a pain in the arse when you need to flip the lock on/off. If you look closely, you will see that the handle actually pivots down and away from the gunners body, which always seemed to require...
Pic one is the older style from the M1025/1026 vehicles. The handle engaged a tapered pin which would drop famously into the holes around the inner ring. This allowed gunners to quickly spin the turret around and drop the handle when their desired position was achieved. After a while, the...
That is great for you.
This is the mentality that keeps the status quo. I am not exactly complaining here, I called to find a status from GL, they told it is all DLA's fault and they are totally innocent. So before I started ranting and raving about DLA, I decided to get the other side of...
First of all, I would like to put out a couple dislaimers;
1 - I served for a number of years in the Army, and know how to get things done within government systems. Always remember, sugar > vinegar with reguards to bees.
2 - Always take care of things at the lowest possible level, again see...
Well, it has now been 63 days since my EUC was sent to BC. I fully expect the thing to be drop-kicked into the canceled bin, but I have received no word from GL. So, I climbed one rung about the heads of GL, and called DRMS directly wondering about my EUC. I talked to a rather nice young lady...
It is real unfortunate that sarcasm and attempted humor can not be portrayed over the internets. I was just giving you some ribbing, as I am positive that I would NEVER in my life, be able to do PAO work. My hat is off to you sir.... Then again, I was never much for reporters, photographers...
I guess that would make you more of a REMF than a Pogue, although both positions describe the job well ;)
I understand the magnitude of a Congressional, believe me, but I was just wondering if there was a governing body, with an actual military member in charge, overseeing DRMO and subsequently...
I would buy it, if for not;
No aux fuel tank
No bows and tarp
No $55k in bank
Other than those issues, I would be proudly annoying my neighbors with this toy in the yard.
You use pogue as a derogatory term yet,
Yet, you were a pogue yourself. Or is this a case of the pots down the road calling their kettle friends... well you know. :D

On topic,
Will a congressional investigation really amount to much in this situation? Or will a call to the...

What is the length of the standard NATO coupler wire from the draw-bar junction box to the plug itself? I am building a replacement wire with a Chyrsler 7-blade plug to mate to my Liberty CRD.
and where is the cheapest place to pick up female packards? I have a ton of male, just out of female.
During the scene when they are crossing the tower field at night, you can see an MP has someone pulled over. **** mud-puppies!
To add to the M4 topic... I took this pic just before my drive north from Udari, Kuwait. This was sitting in a "bone yard" with a gutted M998, and a pair of very...
Ron,
You need the updated seats, they are MUCH more comfortable than those things.
Another option we used, stuff the foam from the inside of a MK19 ammo can (or what you can source locally) between the bottom springs and the seat bottom of the driver's seat to make it more bearable.
