Had mine shipped from VA to MA. Cost me $1,500.00. JRT trucking. It was short notice and needed the vehicle moved out of GL property ASAP. They approved my EUC in 5-6 weeks. You must have bought that truck that I saw on GL a couple of months back. If I remember right the truck looked like it...
I'm not sure that that is all true either... The vehicle that I bought had a red toe tag and the truck was part of a bigger sale that was going on and they were advertised as running by GL when they first started doing the video's online of product that they were selling. I only put in an...
Good Luck! Looks great! I remember seeing this one too and remembered I already had one...
Hope the EUC goes quickly. I think mine took 5-6 weeks when I purchased.
Bidding is the stressful part. Waiting for the EUC is like watching a pot of water boil.
Hope your trip goes well. If I...
Correct Ida34/Towerguy1, correct air assist and it is hard to drill that into anyones head that does not understand or know how the vehicle is manufactured and assembled. Yes, I would check with my State Police Truck enforcement division not my local police department or regular state trooper...
Actually in MA it is due to the vehicle having more than 5 wheels... It is considered commercial private not for hire... If you use it to make $$$ then the state police can pull you over and then you need a medical certificate because the vehicle is over 10,000#. You do not need a class B...
A class B lic is not needed in the State of Massachusetts. You must have gotten a rookie. You traveled from New Bedford near the cape? I find it tough to travel more than an hour at a time.
Hope you made out okay.
Regards,
I'm just catching up here. Are you guys talking about block heaters to heat the oil before starting the engine?
Is there anything special we need to do here in NewEngland with the cold before starting?
I'm assuming a block heater is a good thing?
What is the heater on the dash that you hold...
Man, I spent more time than I should have changing out that one rear seal that was leaking about 5 weeks back.
I took so much time and care cleaning off all the parts and making sure I put everything back together correctly.
It lasted about 2-3 weeks and the seal is leaking again.
New...

Gee, I do not know what your all talking about.
I'm watching junkyard wars now on the science channel
Its great on a wet weekend and they are having a Junk Yard Marathon.
Regards,
Is it the same as replacing the gear lube in the differentials?
Just pop the two plugs, drain and then replace the lube up to the vent.
Or is there something special?
Any idea on how much lube is needed to do both?
Regard,
I have not taken the time to read the manual yet on this section.
Does the transfer case and the transmission both take GL1?
I should do a search on these two items also.
Thanks,
Man, this is like doing a goole search...
The amount of information that comes back is huge...
I have a Sergeant here that works for me from out of artillery.
We were looking at the picture, but could not make anything out to figure this out.
THIS SITE IS GREAT AND I WISH FOR ITS LONG TERM...
Great for you.
Terrific price too.
There were some up at Portmouth Naval Ship Yard/Kittery without covers or rails going for $350.00 back in Feb/March 05.
I stopped bidding at $225.00
Good Luck!
Back to school I go.
I'm not having any issues and she is driving great.
I'll pull them off anyways when I have a spare moment to check them out.
Just to be on the safe side.
Thanks Joe.
I'm curious what purpose the fittings that I have serve.
I'll have to take a better look at it.
I do know that once I filled them up I did not get movement in the front right wheel anymore.
Easy enough to pull the outside off and see if it filled with grease.
Thanks
