    What wheelbearings!

Here is a question. Is there not a grease fitting on the front hub to lub the axle and bearings? Do you physically need to pull them off? Regards,

    gear oil

If you check some prior post and do a search on Gear Lube or GL1 etc... something will come up as I have had this question myself in past. Again, I know some people have issues with Walmark, but they do carry GL1 gear lube. Good Luck.

    Wheel studs and lug nuts

Gee, found out why I was losing gear grease from the left rear. Looks like whom ever did the break job at the motor pool did not put the cork in... The good thing is the breaks are in great shape with about 1/4" meat on them. Bad news is I wanted to change out the stud that snapped when...

I was going to get both to be safe. The inner and the outer seal that keeps the gear oil from mixing with the gear grease and ruinning the bearing.

EVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS

Yeah! You really have to love it. That is part of the reason why we bought the truck. When I pick my son or daughter up from trumpet, piano, soccer, CCD or just going to the store to get milk. They all think I'm crazy, but I can see the jealousy in their eyes. Mainly because their wives said...

Picking up my new (to me) deuce tomorrow!

It should be to throw the hubs in and out for the front wheels. Heater controls are just to the left of that toggle. Correct me if I'm wrong everyone. Regards,

    Rear Seals

As I have never done this before and I'm going to act like Micky the dunce. What parts do I pre-order to have on hand to do this? Just an outter seal and the cork piece? As I would think I should be able to reuse the bearings as this was caught in time. Thoughts??? Make sense? Part# 12...

    Compare fuel milage

Local dump yard I would think would weigh it for free just to see it. If not, throw a bag of trash in the back and pay by the weight to dispose of it. Or possibly a sand and gravel place for a few thoughts. Regards,
