You might be right. I went out yesterday and checked them against my side racks and they are the same width and thickness. If I get a chance, I'll drive around the base to see if I can find a trailer with the bows installed and compare. Smitty

Someone could have added anti-freeze and there might have been some oil reside in the transfer container. I'd be wanting to start it up before I bought it, these trucks usually start pretty easy with a jump or quick charge on the batteries. Smitty

I have the metal corners for the bows, but I thought about something else as I was looking at the trailer. Do the bows have some type of metal shield/support on the bottom where they slide into the slots on the side racks? If so, are these available anywhere? Smitty

Both of these compressors have electric starters on them. I'm guessing that the engines do not recharge the battery since the only wires going to the starters are the battery cables and two wires for the push button switch. The battery cables have slick little lever actuated quick disconnects...
