Hood/Reg. number?? Where do I find it if my data plate is one big lie :/ My data plate is false. I found the vin on the frame rail but where exactly do I scrape off paint to find the registration/hood number? I searched all over and cant seem to find it Thanks

It included a title but the title did not even have the seller's name. The seller is supposedly a 'dealer,' yet there is no dealer signature of any sort -

Frame vin does not match the title. What the Heck do I do?

my Issue is that I was told everything on it was from 86, and that he completely restored the vehicle. Everything on the truck is rotting and falling apart, so yes, to me, finding out the year matters. also, for purposes of legality, matching vins MATTER. ...!?

Um... Bad news: the VIN on my data plate does NOT match the vin on the Frame Rail.

The PO says this is the original engine... so is the truck's year a lie? or did the original engine get replaced with an ...older .. one..?

and if you have the dimensions from the intake pipe to the turbo itself (the coupling), that'd be incredibly helpful too. I can't measure my own because they literally are THAT dry rotted..
