yeah so i just got my kit today from saturn surplus and i have been hearing that you have to fabricate a mount for the heater motor, and before i went all hog wild on the thing i figure i might ask some of you guys to get some ideas so if you have any feel free to tell thanks.
ok here is this thing i have 11. 11.00 series tires with mil spec tread and i had a flat to fix on the truck and because of being pressed on time i just took it to a place where they plugged the hole and threw a tube in and the guy was saying 11.00s might not fit on the rims that i have so i...
thats good because as long as i can get the 1100x20s at around 20 to 30$ a piece that would be great looking for something like 90% tread left and greater i'll give em a call later today
yeah it cleared up some of mine as well... the thing is i went to usa6x6.com and talked about the tires the person who i spoke to said that if i went a size up i can't run duals but if i stick with that i would be able to get by, i know super singles handle alot better and over all dont...
well could be anywhere from 1966 to 1970 because correct me if i am wrong but thats when jeep was owned by kaiser i happen to have a 1970 without winch
i was reading somewhere i forgot where maybe it was on this site, but leave the idle of the truck at or above 800 rpm because below that will throw nasty vibrations into the lights and kinda eventually start to crack them or loosen the bulb i believe... makes sence i guess so from now on i...
yeah i will most likely do all this down the line, i have much more to do to the truck before i worry about power like tires for one :P but thanks for the info and i will eventually get around to cranking up the fuel a bit and trying to rig a k&n with the proper guages and such
really... never knew that one thanks devin, it does make sence when you think about it i guess because the smaller turbo (C) is whistling to keep up with the amount of air it needs, add that k and n and turn up the fuel and i guess that would whistle because it has to keep up also. mind if i...
the other day i saw this deuce with a winter camo paint of white being the main background and grey and black over it, and it looked actually pretty cool, plus you don't see much of them painted like that , hard to find canvass i would imagine because you'd have to get it made white
thats pretty cool, how well does that cut down the noise, i have a muffler in mine also except its up higher on the stack doesnt really do that much but mine is nothing like that
