CharlieT...ur right ! ! !
I made a list of ALL other non-green things to sell ! ! !
Diecast models, motorcycle, car parts, truck parts, even my late model Silverado and Sebring sedan, one of our (wifes) Suburban...extra tires....EVERYTHING MUST GO ! !
I NEED to buy another green toy...found...
bshupe....THAT is the idea I was having for the M1010 I have, make the truck useful daily, and hook up the "box" on a trailer when you need it only ! ! !
Yours looks great...put them together and post a pic too if you can!!!
Thanks for your process M38, I was thinking maybe making a quick disconnect with a electrical bulkhead connector like the fuse block/engine harness type so it can be reattached if needed.
But the more I check and search here, seems anyone that stripped out the box, or removed it kinda wish...
CharlieT...Im trying trust me...I just finish fabing a pintel ring spacer for the M104 trailer so I can at least move it with a truck. Hands stuck to the steel the other night cause they were wet...sheesh ! ! !
It is not fun since the whole parking lot is an ice rink around the trailer and the...
Has anyone at GL ever made a list of all items that need an EUC or not?
Being from Canada, there is no way to bid on items that require it but it would suck if it shows up AFTER a bid and win....Not sure what
they would do about that, anyone run into that after the auction closed?
Good...
Small update on the progress...seems the water pump seals finally gave up so my M1010 is leaking some coolant. Picked up a pump and engine seal kit but is seems the shop is kinda busy to fit me in right now.
Wish it was at least 0C outside so I could work on it myself.
Really thinking about...
Great Dylan,
I would put some Seafoam through the generator and that will help clean up some of that fuel varnish that is in the carb. If you put in on the road and take it to shows post or PM me, maybe I can get my M1010 out to a show too!!
THAT is the reason why you go on a road trip...who cares WHERE you go but if you don't have an adventure to remember...u didn't go anywhere memorable!!!
Recovry4x4...great account of your trip..many more and enjoy the time with the boys, I'm sure they are growing too fast for your liking!!!!
Darn it..>I jumped the gun and ordered the same type I have on the trailer..kinda like a teardrop shape with blackout lights built in Mil type.
Now that I see more pictures...the brackets hold the Blackout lights and the regular looking truck lights mount above them. The wiring seems complete...
......just posted some pics of my M1010....and I realized I have NO TAILIGHTS AT ALL ! ! !
Anyone have a pic of the proper tailights for it? Tomorrow I will check what wiring is there but I have searched some pics and I see both types
regular truck/jeep style lights and the Mil type with led...
Old Thread bump....BUT what ever happened to this truck?
M1031..did you ever go back for more pics?
Did one of the US members buy it....??
Don't leave us hanging ! ! !
Anyone have part numbers for these turbo setups? or instructions on how to add one? do they need tuning like a gas engine would?
Wow that would be a great upgrade without major modding.
My guess is the little tin hole cap with 3 leg prongs...there is a small approx 1in and large approx 2in
I spent time under my Suburban and know the holes well now since I needed to replace a trans in the driveway
HOPE I WIN SOMETHING IF I AM RIGHT!!!!
EDIT...maybe I lose....I have a full...
