As you can see when I break and at full stop my wait light flickers and stays on. The outside temp is only 55 degrees F. Truck is at operational temp. Exhaust smoke is normal (new rebuild, doesnt really smoke at all at temp). I do not...
This does make sense. Thanks for the insight. Now this is my only vehicle I have had that is manual trans but I know something is being done when I pump the clutch. Before pumping I am clutch to the floor and I have to force the shift and attempt them 2-3 times before shifting. When I put it in...
I am not sure if someone reccommended it but I am not going though 56 posts to find out lol.
I use hagerty insurance company. They are a classic car insurance agency.
When I called this is what I said, "Hi, umm I want to insure my truck", "what kind?" they asked...... "well this is hard to...
One reason for trying to rid myself of all leaks is to get a contract with CalFire. They are the forest firefighters. I can run supplies and firefighters as support and get paid for it. The inspection process requires that the engine have no visible leaks. If I can make it not leak for at least...
Are you talking about the clear low pressure lines? I had every one of these go on me last year. They were straight but once the fuel got to them they bent like this. I am looking for the size line I need so I can replace it with the proper rating. This hose was a field repair. I had about 15...
Hey I take it constructive criticism, its good advice. I suppose I didn’t make them the same post because the oil leaks are separate from the shifting issue and never thought the two could affect one another. Can it?
Ahhh wait, I suppose the real head could leak down to the clutch housing. Ok...
The picture I took is not the best. I am leaking at the base of the compressor which is not visable from the picture. The valve covers are not very bad, the front head is a class II and the rear head is getting their. On the passanger side the turbo gaskets need to be replaced and other minor...
No, it doesn't feel like the play has changed at all since I have had the truck but that being said it may have been an "over time" change.
I will need to TM this and find out how to properly adjust the play.
Memphis equipment has two gaskets for the compressor. I think it is the base and one for the side, not sure. I ordered two of what they had.
I was informed some pipe dope or lube will help seal the upper tube.
I am surprised that no one has yet to tell me to replace the lock washers. It...
The past couple of rides in the deuce have been worrisome.
When I first get her going for the day I always check the gears while parked. Clutch in, run the stick through and make sure it goes, sometimes I have to release the clutch a tiny bit for the gears to engage.
The issue is that it is...
I actually have a sucktion cup sign for my trucks that say this exact thing : ) Not sure if my landloard digs the leaks since when I moved in their were no oil stains on the driveway.
Anyone find a good solution for removing stains from the driveway? I have used pressure washer w/cold water...
Well here in Monterey California I am about two miles from the cold wind and salty air from the pacific lol No matter what rust I try to prevent I always find soem new growth... So I rather not leak in addition to minor rust. Plus the cucv leaks enough.
