ok the fuel additive is the first place to start, its easy and cheap if that doesnt work you have to look at a few other things, fuel pressure, injectors, or rings worn out. those are the three things related to hard starting in cold weather only. ether is much more explosive there fore starting...
I bought an a-3 and put about 400 miles on it with no major issues only has about 15k miles on it and i changed all the fluids and filters. It seems after reading alot of the posts that the cat engine is not what I expected. I thought they were good engines and I went to a few truck places...
Is there any diffrences making an a3 dump vs an a2. automatic trans? is there a place to hook pto shaft or do I have to go electric hydralic? any advise.

I live i North east Pa and my fuel from the pump gels up all the time and i have diesal pickup and more and it happens in all of them. The new low sulfer diesal doesnt provide nearly the same lubrication properites as the old, its playing havick with newer vehicles fuel pumps etc. I add additive...
I need to top off the transmission fluid in my A3 does anyone know what kind of trans fluid goes in there, also thers 2 oil filters on it a large one right on motor but a second smaller one on drivers side behind front bumper. anyone know what that one is.?

thanks everyone I fixed the ctis it was a simple valve stem leaking i replaced it and its working fine. as far as the brakes i checked everything and it seems to be ok. They do work if i step on it hard i can lock the wheels up and i here the air valve working it just seems like a lot of force...
