Nope. I thought you might have concluded that. It does appear that way from the picture. Thats why I askes, wast sure if I was missing something. I'm going to get a bolt and try to back it off from the cab first...

73m what are your thoughts? Yes the chain is wound on there pretty well but its not bound up on anything....

I'm just concerned by all the bent metal. It even pulled the bumper in towards the center. Luckily the frame does not seem bent in...we will see..

Yeah it seems like its under preassure. Can I safely remove the shackle pin? The previous owner said it worked fine the last time he used it....I'm going outside to work on it now....Keep the suggestions coming...

I have checked my manuals and all I can find is section 78-1....In TM. Handle is stuck (very little movement). And shouldnt I be able to pull it out freely once the pin is released?
