Finally got some parts painted so i can start some sub assembly, these are pics of my folding rear step/cargo/porch . looking forward to getting them fully welded and seeing them with paint.
more trailer p0rn. I just finished the receiver tubes for the back combo. came up with a light mount that doesn't get blocked by said combo and shouldn't be a problem with the boxes i'll add to the rear to make wheel wells
It is a harbor freight $30 special. If you look in some of the earlier pics youll see it with the original foot still on. Its just been highly modified.
I havn't been able to make it to the scales but it's not nearly as heavy as the specs state. Mike and I were pushing it around on the 105 frame to get it adjusted for final mounting.

danger the interior is really hard to get pictures of. those pictures i posted are scanning from passenger side entry around to drivers side.
thanks to everyone for the compliments. my jerk neighbor made comments about my "redneck camper" I just felt the...
I saw those and wow what a deal! I wanted to get a set for my truck, will they run 12v as well?
Danger i am worried about a point of failure there. Im sure if a tire went flat i could still jack the tonue up and down and do what i need but id rather design out flaws from the get go. If they...
Didn't get a whole lot done tonight, got even less pics of the progress. I got some 12v tail lights mounted and some wires ran. not sure what to do for deuce compatibility, I'd honestly rather have military lights but sourcing the lights and the harness isn't possible right now. I mounted the...
Whoa! Gotta admit its a little freaky to see the skeleton. That would be a hard decision to make. The nice thing is in my state theyre sandwiched with foam and then another aluminum layer inside so it should be easy to heat and cool as its just a big cooler essentialy now.
Isnt skinned on the inside? Can you post some pics of that? Id love to build my own inside with plywood. Ill put some pics of the inside up this weekend after i get the box mounted to the frame
No not really itll be pretty simple. I know im going to add some tool boxes on the outsides to form wheel wells. And my bed will probly be a pull out job on the generator tunnel. Maybe some roof top storage as well. Been more worried about getting it to the point i can mount the box and get that...
Paint!
Got some paint shot. not sure how close the color is to 383 green, looked a little OD to me, but went on well and will protect from rust, gotta keep the project moving forward. medic5050 will be down this weekend and the box WILL be mounted!
Ultimatly I want to get a surge system from an a3 or modify one to work in the same way. Until then the air brakes function fine when itll be behind the deuce and ill see weight wise where im at with my 3/4 ton. Im guessing it will handle fine without them, but if safety dictates so ill hurry...
normally mobile radio repeater, according to the data plate. Mine came stripped of everything. Doesnt even have the control panel for the generator, building one will be in the next phase.
