Im getting ready to order my flywheel and want to get a hays or B&M and cant find one for a 6.2 jegs has one for a 454 and it says Detroit external balance will this fit? I wanna get something a little better than the stock for s and g's im also getting a B&M rv shift kit and a high performance...
That they dont.. If you dont have time like me to filter gallons and gallons of motor oil with the proper tools then i would say TC-W3 is a good alternative and a gallon of cheap stuff is fairly inexpensive under ten bucks and you wont have to worry about hurting your pump and injectors

I've been hearing a wierd chunk noise when starting my 1009 it doesnt do it all the time but it is noticable. I thought it was my starter bolts as previously before broke twice on me and i know that sound. Everything on the starter is tight and the brace is installed. My question is my flywheel...
i just did this last sunday..It didnt fix my problem i need to rebuild my alt but yea my old connector looked just like yours.. some bare crimps and heatshrink did the job good. yea the one i got from napa feels crappy and the terminals are loose think i might cut that one off and go to CUCV...
I had a lady brake check me in the rain in my 1009..needless to say i smashed in the back of her honda civic caused 7K in damage and i casually drove off after the police came as i had ZERO damage to my rig.. who brake checks a CUCV thinking everything is gonna O.K? still trying to figure that...
so my gen2 stopped flickering for a lilttle bit after i posted this thread..And now is back i know DH said rebuild it but i got the alt tested at my mechanic and it is charging fine and doing what a alternator is supposed to do i saw the meter and he was correct. Ths sunday i put a new exciter...

Im gonna plunge in and do my first alternator rebuild on my gen2. I was wondering how long it took you guys that did the rebuild? im a little nervous but think i have the skills to accomplish it. thanks much

its a marine grade 2stroke oil with TC-W3 i have read alot of research about using it in diesel engines and guys love it even in old big rigs. its a ashless non synthetic 2stroke oil which is what you wanna run in a diesel if adding oil as a fuel lubricate. my 1009 is my first diesel my dad...
