I changed the VR board and it is still dropping voltage as I add to the draw. It dropped from 120-121 per leg to 113-114 with a 40% load.
I don't recall it doing that before but maybe I didn't pay enough attention.
Where to from here?
Thanks

It had been a couple months since starting the 002 so I did earlier this evening. I started putting a load on it and up to 15-20% all seemed fine. At 25 the voltage had dropped slightly. At 40-45 it had dropped to 230. At 65 it was down to about 222. HZ remained constant at 61-61.5.
This was...
OKAY!
There were 35 802's in Chambersburg, Pa (it said @ Letterkenny). They didn't seem to sell. They had a reserve on them. Do you think that is why they didn't sell or were they all junk? They didn't look bad in the pics, some with really low hours.
I think only two sold, 1 for $800 and 1...
I agree with this as well. I have an 002 hooked up to the house for backup. I have an 003 sitting there for backup. I got the smaller one first and before really using it I figured I'd get the 003 and use it primary and the 002 for backup to it. I haven't ran into a case where I've needed the...
Like Jimbo913 I set the hz @ 61.5 with no load. Depending on load it will drop a bit from there. Usually around 60 or slightly over with a heavy load. You can always adjust a bit as needed.
120 volts or 240 volts o the voltage.
That's great
I've had to use mine on 3 occasions since getting it. Longest period was 9 or 10 hours. We've gone as long a 6 days in the past (hope that never happens again).
I am no expert but there are people here who are. You have two completely different setups as I understand it. I am not going to go into detail so I don't cause confusion but I am sure someone will chime in.
There is a lot of information in the sticky at the top of the page...
I bought an 003 and it had the filter canisters all sitting in the battery box. No filters. It's probably not the best thing seeing it could allow insects, dirt, etc in but I haven't had any issues with the unit. It was all clean, I wiped it off and put filters on. I'm guessing they know they...
The round piece sitting on the fender by the to brackets you picture if for the aux fuel Goes in a drum or tank. There is an metal extention pipe (mine 1/2 inch or so in diameter and about 3 ft. long) the screws into the bottom of it and gets inserted into the aux fuel tank. A quick connect...
I've never switched anything thing to synthetic. It seems I read somewhere you have to flush the engine before doing that? Is that really necessary or can I just drain good and add synthetic. My oil is getting old enough I probably should change it so I'll probably do so come spring. It only has...
My 002 sends about 27 volts to the batteries when I start it. It builds voltage the longer it runs and peaks at 31. I verified that with my volt meter. I put new batteries on it and it still does it.
If you got them in Pa you will pay 6% sales tax (other states will be at their rate) plus the 10% fee to GL. Not sure if you included that in your invoice estimate or not.
