I wouldn't try and drive home till it had a good going over. If you are going to flat tow you will need to pull the rear drive shaft from the rear axle and tie it up well so you do not loose it or dump transfluid all over the highway. I would trailer it as you do not know the conditions of the...
Your call, Time, Money, fuel, possible break down, flat tire etc. Uhaul trailer rental is $75.00 a day but you will have to say you are pulling an S-10 truck or an S-10 blazer otherwise they will not rent it to you. Ask me how I know. Picked mine up from Orlando and took it to Jax 5 hr round...
Very nice! I saw this on *Bay. Be careful taking it home these are geared high and comfortably all you will be able to do is 60mph otherwise you will over rev and risk engine damage which is why you see posts about guys wanting to go to a 4spd o/d type trans. It will be a very long trip. Looks...
Save the flexing for the trail. I forsee body mounts and other repairs in the future for you guys. There will be stress cracks and other things to deal with. Remember these are 27 yr old trucks.
Looks AWESOME!
Here you go. These were a/m civy machined aluminum bullet hole wheels that I had my good friend Bill Swann @ Wheel Innovations strip and powder coat gunmetal gray. He did the rear centers as well and I will have black lug nuts by Tuesday. I think they look cool and were dirt cheap. I even have 1...
Jeremiah forget rebuilding that starter as it is a problem waiting to happen again.

True Knight, GM still has the bracket available for the gear reduction starter you got. Cost me about $20 from the dealer.

Rim pics will be tonight. I took some with my phone today, lousy quality but will upload when I get home. I am still waiting on my black replacement lugnuts which should be Monday or Tuesday. I have some loner chrome ones on it now.
We decided to do the front brakes with Napa Lifetime...
Mistaken1 gave the correct installation. Mine has an illuminated battery tester with button mounted to the dash and the panel is mounted inside on a custom made bracket in the windshield just above the dash. It helps keep your batteries fresh for good full power starts.
Clepto your A/C must be an A/M kit mine is oem with the comp on the R/H side as well but the evap case protrudes from the firewall right where his turbo is.
All I can say is WOW! Must be nice to have that kind of $$$$$$$$$$$ to be able to do something like that. Mine will stay relatively stock but with A/C and alot of other stuff listed on my build.

So far 1 cycle, no pedal, have not tried it below 32 deg F in N. Florida yet. Has only been that cold 1 day here so far. I have not made any mods to the GP's yet but I am thinking about switching the wire to the 12V Bus.
Keep it up Cucvnut! I went to put the wheels on today and the black lug nuts I got for it wouldn't fit seems the military and the civy spec are different but my friends at Big Chief are sending me a loner set till they can get the correct black ones for me Monday. These are special powdercoated...
