    Yes the switch was on HI,, it jumped up the rev on it's own... and dropped rev on it's own... fuse not blown..? I'll try direct wire tonight.... rewired the same way it was hooked up, from old fans... unless they were wired wrong...? been through the TM's.. didn't find anything on fan wiring...?

    So I Installed new fans on the hydraulic cooler...419 SEE anyone know what temp the fluid needs to reach , for the fans to kick on... got to 107 deg... then the high rev kicked down on it's own????

    ok... need some serious help..... spent 1 hr chasing the air lines on my 419 unimog... cause the 4x4 was not working... this is what I found... now either the manual is completely wrong, or someone seriously was smoking crack when they replaced the regulator... as ya can see the reg was changed...

    I think I found the culprit to the leak on the transmission. This little culprit was dropped into the bottom of the plastic receiver, (from whoever worked on it previously) so the gear shift didn't sit all the way in, and tore up the plastic sleeve. Thank goodness it didn't drop into the...

    well I got her open.. the leak appears to be coming from the "HI,LOW, REVERSE " Boot... looks like been leaking for a wile... should there be a clamp at the top? does not state in the manual...TM 5-2420-224-20-2.... pg471-474.. 4x4 was not engaging... going to take switch apart and clean
