    That would be true, only prob is that the place the rock came from is the Stringfellow acid pits one of the countrys top 10 hot spots for Fed clean up. I saw the steam gen that was moveing from San Onofre to Idaho. it came through Riverside, This rock was WAY bigger.

    Try pumping the cold wether start primer pump, I had an old fuel line that was sucking air but I could get it started once there was fuel up in the rail.

    I certainly don't mean to question your info, but when I reg my 813 the supv. at the DMV told me that 3 axles require at least a class B. Was I miss informed?

    I used the house paint 2 years ago went on nice came out good no rust comimg through yet. I took my camo cab cover to Home Depot and had them color match it, color match was perfict. And you can see the chicks dig it lol.

    Looks like you had a good trip D. Theres 5 more books of trips in that area. I've done all of them they're all very cool. Also lots of good side trips. Wish I could have made it. Next time for sure. I'll have to drag out all my topos for that area and give you some spots to check out next time...

    winch shear pins-- Cheapest??

    I found alu rods at MacMaster-Carr its 2024, but you have to get 5/16 .312, and tune it down to 9/32, .281, its about 10 bucks for three feet. if you have a lathe you could make a few. 6061-T651 is to hard.

    I think there might have been a bad spot in it, had it retubed. Haven't tried it under load yet.

    I have a mil speck pin in my 813 and when pulling a deuce out of the mud i broke the pto shaft instead of the pin????? So i don't know what the toque specks are on the pins.

    When I recovered my 813 I didn't look to see that the batt were not securd, on the way home one slid over and shorted on the cover (step). I chasted gremlins for months, one thing I found was the inside of the alt. was all burned, but it still worked and put out the correct voltage. My prob...
