    Hello from Washington

An M1009 would be nice but it wouldn't fit the requirements of what I need in a truck. I'm looking for a M35A2 to replace a 84 international S1900 that had a 13ft flatbed, the Allison AT545 auto transition took a dump on me while towing logs off of the back part of my land. it was a rusty old...

    welder purchase questions

Try using a .020 wire as well as turning down the voltage and wire feed speed. you should be able to weld sheet metal no problem if you stager the welds and only weld .25"-1" at a time.

    welder purchase questions

I would spend a little more now and get the Millermatic 211, if you have it plugged into a 220/240 volt outlet. In my opinion it is twice the machine as the 180 class welders. When buying a welder for the welding shop I manage I always try to get one with a little more capacity then I will...

    Identify this trailer

I think it was used for a gen set, It has fold away jacks on all 4 corners for leveling. I think the tung was modified at some point. I got it from work for free, I would like to know more about it. I plan on turning it into a moble shooting platform with lock boxes and a bench for a...

Thanks srodocker, I will keep that in mind. I will try to post picks of the M105 tonight. After spending 5 hours getting a truck out of a peatbog today (sorry no pics, way to muddy for a camara) I think I need a 816 as well.

    Welding Safety

I have been welding professionally for going on 10 years now. Any time I have to use a liquid cleaner I use 100% Acetone. Acetone its self is very toxic to the body so always use gloves rated for acetone and do not breath the fumes. After you get the weldment clean blow it dry with compressed...

    Hello from Washington

I raced Honda dirt bikes in my teens, I started using the screen name back then and it stuck. I would love to pick up that m52 but I don't have my CDL yet, I grew up on a farm driving every thing from ATVs to 18 wheelers, riding lawn mowers to a 70 ton excavator. The deuce in Gig Harbor looks...
