Will the the alternator from a deuce work on the 250 cummings?
And for the power steering fluid,is it dot 5?
Or is it just some type of power steering fluid?
And where there a lot of XM-810s produced ?
I think it is time to rebuild the air pack it is spraying brake fluid out of the
part...
How important is the first fuel filter??
There are two others after that one.
I was thinking of bypassing it, good or bad?
And does anyone know of a reusable fine brass screen filter I can just replace it with?

I'm going to start coming across m52a2 tractor trucks that most likely the
engines are blown. they usually have LDS Multi fuel engines in them,
But I have coming soon one truck that has a Military Mack engine in it?
i did not know they had macks in some of them.

I need to know has anyone /or is it possible to put a civilian NHC 250 Cummings in it ??

Ok i dont know what it is called but
it is a deuce from the 50's gasser longer frame and a big dome shop box
on it the sides open up like wings.
on a 5 ton 250 Cummings .
If you jump start it and it turns fires up and running
And you take the slave cable off it the truck shuts down
does that mean the fuel pumps no good???
On the M-1009 I took off the outer hub engage
that came off and then the spring and the inner gear
and then I took off the lock C clamp and It wont come apart any further.
There's still a inner gear and a outer gear. Whats going on?
I cant get it apart.

I'm taking my parts deuce apart slowly and i don't need the chassis
its just the bare chassis, Is it worth anything or should I scrap it?
It will be a long time before i get to that point.
I just feel bad scraping it.
My brakes are acting funny,
It starts out fine the first push of the pedal
than the next push the pedal gets higher and higher up to where the pedal
does not really move down any more but the brakes still work and the brakes keep pressure
and keep braking when I don't need them to.
