I have my own little army of minions for helping me prep the truck for paint, sure the lines are not perfect but it was worth it for the amount of fun they all had! I still have to do some black paint to the grill area, frame, underbelly and wheels, we are about out of warm weather so I am glad...
Thanks, planning my trip for wheels and such this week, so hopefully will have things moving along better now. I have been working on getting THIS truck done since the weather has gotten really cold and I needed to get the paint done. I usually tend to work on them only a few hours a night...
Here is the latest build from overkill customs, it is for sale, I should have it painted next week or so. It is a 71 m35a2 with M35a3 air assist power steering. The truck has a Boyce hardtop and was originally bought and sold by Boyce, they did a full 12v conversion at the time of sale, I had...
or just do what I did and use a 7" grinder, disconnect the rear drivline, put the front on jackstands and put it in gear. (poor man's lathe). Make sure your front jackstands are up to the task first.

sorry guys, there has been a delay on this build, I have yet to have time to go get the super single wheels that I have ordered. The truck is bobbed, the bed is done but before I do final assembly I want to mount the tires and wheels to see if I need to build a sub frame for the bed to make...
Yeah it is cool if it is the only green truck you own but I recover other trucks with my 920 and I need to have a strong 24v source to start up and recover old trucks.
A 480le will work if you get a full manual valve body, means you shift it through the gears like a manual. Yes you can do it, I would only do it if I were adding 1008 axles under it otherwise the 1009 has perfect gearing without modifying it.
There is a replacement for displacement... Its called boost!! an 8.3 wont even break a sweat chewing up and crapping out the nhc250 and with a couple of free tweaks the 8.3 really comes alive!!
