    Overkill Customs Bobbed Deuce

I have my own little army of minions for helping me prep the truck for paint, sure the lines are not perfect but it was worth it for the amount of fun they all had! M916-M920 Tech & Tips

or just do what I did and use a 7" grinder, disconnect the rear drivline, put the front on jackstands and put it in gear. (poor man's lathe). Make sure your front jackstands are up to the task first.

    Overkill Customs 5 ton Bobber

sorry guys, there has been a delay on this build, I have yet to have time to go get the super single wheels that I have ordered. The truck is bobbed, the bed is done but before I do final assembly I want to mount the tires and wheels to see if I need to build a sub frame for the bed to make...

    8.3 cummins antifreeze ?

Military uses standard green, if it were me I would use the big truck stuff, have seen some fail at really low mileage due to cavitation.

    M915: Converting to all 12V

Yeah it is cool if it is the only green truck you own but I recover other trucks with my 920 and I need to have a strong 24v source to start up and recover old trucks.

    winches

you can swap it over, you will have to have a hydraulic power source (pto tandem pump high capacity) to make it work, as well as the frame mount.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

all the ones I have seen lately have been the MW pump, still easy to turn up though..

4l80e in m1009 pros and cons

A 480le will work if you get a full manual valve body, means you shift it through the gears like a manual. Yes you can do it, I would only do it if I were adding 1008 axles under it otherwise the 1009 has perfect gearing without modifying it.

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

There is a replacement for displacement... Its called boost!! an 8.3 wont even break a sweat chewing up and crapping out the nhc250 and with a couple of free tweaks the 8.3 really comes alive!!

Heavier Axles and Frame on 5 ton

yeah if you need bigger axles, skip the process and just buy a heavier truck like a m123, 920 etc.
