great job westech, with an initial investment of a couple grand and a scrap value of more than that drive it like you stole it... You can't loose no matter what all of the "professionals" on here seem to think!!
by the way, that is NOT the final cut to the frame, just a rough cut to remove the axles, wont know where the final will be till the bed is on the truck and moved around a bit.
is everyone forgetting that the 920 is a 20 ton rated truck??? not saying that the people on here do not have valid points but I see redneck tow truck setups on everyday 1 ton trucks and 5th wheel mounted wrecker systems that sell for $15k and no one says " oh your trucks not up to it!"...
I am pretty sure my truck is the only crane on a 920 you will find, I think it is safe to say that with the relatively "new" nature of this truck that it most likely has not been done yet. Links below show the build.
yes it will fit, will have to put the intercooler in front of the radiator, I have helped with a cummins 6cta and they are pretty much the same dimensions.

Hi John, yes I have followed a couple of your builds on them, I have even photoshop'd one of them for some different idea's of my own, yours were an inspiration for this one.
Thanks again.
Well I finally got a chance to rebuild the fan clutch assembly and it was not as bad as I had thought. The M920( I assume the 916 is the same, the 915's I have seen have a normally closed clutch so a different rebuild kit) has a EVANS FC200017 Fan clutch, I have confirmed this with other...
Ok Guys, this thread is a teaser of what is to come over the next few weeks, SS Member Ranchand and I bought an M812 Bridge Truck that was a fire dept use rig that has been highly cannibalized so it is not worth trying to rebuild. It has an old school boyce equipment one piece top, windshield...
