Thanks, this hood is up for grabs for anyone. It needs an EUC so I have some time. However if nobody can help me out I am sure you will see it back up for auction.
Hi my name is Brian. I am in Oregon and just won a m998 hood from GL. It's in Ohio and because of the wood crate it's in, the shipping would be $1,200. It's not worth it! I paid $200. Do you want it? I could have it shipped to you. Or you could pick it up. No money up front. I just want to be...
Maybe he means they don't like them on base. Anyhow... I oredered 2 Interstate batteries. Not cheep, but I want the good stuff and I want them to fit snug in the box. Still waiting for my EUC so I can go get it. Did I mention it has a flat tire also? Fun times ahead.
Thanks for the info!!!
I want to go stock. I saw it has two square batteries in the tray. Was looking for a dimension or part number. I don't have any batteries I can spare out of a other vehicle anyhow. Thanks.
Hi there. Just bought an a3 from GL have not picked it up yet. Batteries are dead. Where do I get batteries? Worried about driving all the way home on a jump. THANKS.
American General actually emailed me back and gave me the same information. MM-DD letter year M=2005. So mine are may 1st 2005.
Thank you all for all the help. Can't wait to get one in my truck!!!
I called AMGN, they were kind of secretive about everything. They had me email the codes and said they would send the info. Cross my fingers.
As soon as I can get my premium membership to go through I will post them on the classifieds.
Thanks!
I bought some engines for the gov and I can't figure out how to read the codes. It's a 6.5L V8 diesel.
The flange says 05 01 M. Inside by the flywheel says 168, F15, 506. What does this stuff mean and where can I find out?
I bought 4 detuned hummer engines. I want to put one in my truck and sell the rest. I want to boost the horse power back to where it should be. What the heck is detuned and and how can I change it back?
They were made my American General in 2005.
Any info would be a big help! Thanks, Brian.
Hey there, My name is Brian.
I have a bobbed deuce and a half. I am looking to get different wheels. Stock is fine but with big tires and the offset, you get some rubbing.
Somebody said you may have an idea where to get these.
Thanks!
Well, you don't need new rims to go to 47s. But I would ask you the same question. Where do you get those rims???
I have seen them on more then one truck. I would like to get a set.
Come on guys. Quit holding out on us!
That is cool, I have seen some 5 tons woth those rims and tires.
My deuce has stock rims with 47in. tires.
I wonder about the steering. Mine rubs a bit when I take a sharp right. I can only guess those after market rims solve the problem.
I have some coolant leaks to track down and then I am back to daily driving.
Right now the truck is drained and under some serious maintainence
I am curious to see how Mr. Eff Saddam in the Bs' trips go.
Thanks for the help guys!
I have the manual and a bunch of tools, but I have a lot to learn.
The question of reliability comes because when the army has a problem they simply pull the motor and drop in a spare. You could have 100k miles but on 5 engines.
Is it possible to maintain and...
I want to make my m35a2 "bulletproof" I plan to pull a trailer up to Alaska in the future.
I am fine will the low top speed, but I don't want any mechanical trouble.
One of you vetrans know anything?
Thanks, Brian.
I bought this thing a couple months ago and I'm having some engine problems. It looks like there is a large coolant leak coming from the intercooler where it bolts to head. The studs and nuts looks fine, but the verticle bolts on top holding the top coolant ports are frozen in.
I can tell...
