American General actually emailed me back and gave me the same information. MM-DD letter year M=2005. So mine are may 1st 2005. Thank you all for all the help. Can't wait to get one in my truck!!!

I bought some engines for the gov and I can't figure out how to read the codes. It's a 6.5L V8 diesel. The flange says 05 01 M. Inside by the flywheel says 168, F15, 506. What does this stuff mean and where can I find out?

I bought 4 detuned hummer engines. I want to put one in my truck and sell the rest. I want to boost the horse power back to where it should be. What the heck is detuned and and how can I change it back? They were made my American General in 2005. Any info would be a big help! Thanks, Brian.

Well, you don't need new rims to go to 47s. But I would ask you the same question. Where do you get those rims??? I have seen them on more then one truck. I would like to get a set. Come on guys. Quit holding out on us!

That is cool, I have seen some 5 tons woth those rims and tires. My deuce has stock rims with 47in. tires. I wonder about the steering. Mine rubs a bit when I take a sharp right. I can only guess those after market rims solve the problem.

Yeah, the whole split ring rims is a new one to me. Is there any other option? If not I plan to take two or more spare tires with rims
