    Does this sound doable?

:p LOL, I too have seen something similar. This camper had a 5000 BTU unit(good for 150Sq. Ft. (modern ones only weight about 40 lbs., draw about 5-6 amps at start up) running off some kind of inverter and a Harbor Freight Generator when parked. But for the ultimate in...

    Fuel filter change nightmare

I like your attitude! "getting enough MV experience for ASE certification" Wait until you beguine to deal with just the Know electrical issues of this 25 + years old trucks 12/24v. hybrid system...some people think they are bad, will some others think GM had a stroke of genius for the day. Most...

    Fuel filter change nightmare

:ditto:I would exhaust all possibility's before a mechanical lift pump R. & R. is not complicated but it is a PITA. If trouble shouting indicates that you have to replace your mechanical lift pump, they are not very expensive. I would save my knuckles and be happier with an electric one . Some...

    Fuel filter change nightmare

I would retrace what you did today during the fuel filter R & R. Occasionally having a hard time restarting this trucks after replacing the filter, due to air in the lines can be normal, but sound as if you follow the correct procedure. I guess is possible that something else rear its head or...

I just learn about then last year but they have being out on the field for some time. They are a hybrids of Michelin(BFG, parent company)military and BFG off-road/New Mud/Baja treads. There is a good tread here under HMMWV BGF tires with different photo shots. When I snatch a set for under...

    Fuel filter change nightmare

Sir, It was a wile back the last time I did mine but, I think you are bleeding the air out of the wrong bleeading port everything else sounds correct, you usually just need to crank the engine with the pink IP wire disconnected for a few seconds, certainly less then a minute... Check out...

    HMMWV tires

:ditto:The only real avantages they have is price, and with their rubber compounds will probably last a long time but not very good in snow as you would think a radial would be and weak side walls so you most be mindfull of debry. Now I am looking for a DEAL on the military/BFG

. what am missing on the X case???

Jersey4x4, that is Great! I was always under the impresion that they were remove by the tech's, but it look to me they would not be in the way and like starter supports and steering gear box support would add riggidity. I did see then ones on a wrecker with a NP 205 and PTO. as soon as I fell...
