A M923 gets 4.3 mpg.....263 gallons.
It has a range of 350 miles on a 85 gallon tank. It's in the TM. Four fill ups. Could be $1,200.
Try to get roadside assistance through your insurance.
I'm looking at getting a gun....would you recommend using the air off the truck to spray with? If I got a water and oil separator?
I find painting interesting and would like to get started spraying my own stuff! I have a beautiful truck that has some surface rust...
Could you direct me in the...
The TM DOES have a section on "What if the truck will not start." It says stuff like clean the terminals, make sure they are tight, and add water to your batteries.
It's in there.....If that doesn't work it says notify your supervisor! LOL good luck on that one.
You could always take them out...
I'd be careful about who you ship with as well. I've read stories about a popular website used to ship....
A guy posts a ad to ship a car. The shipper takes the car....never shows up at it's destination....
The guy's car ended up in Mexico....and he had to hire an international lawyer to get...
It depends on the truck you are buying.....the pictures can be deceiving. You may get there and all the tires be dry rotted. It could have a major leak....or something else like bad batteries.
The truck behind me in the description didn't say it ran, but it also didn't say it didn't run.....bad...
You have to think of the cost to go pick it up....the price of diesel, the cost to drive there the cost to drive a car back.
I'm going to say 263 gallons of diesel. National price of $3.886 = $1,025.26
Plus the cost to drive there and drive your car back......one break down could double or...
You know he's talking about a 21,500 pound truck right?
If you are really charging $1.65 a mile I can keep you busy. What type of equipment do you have?
Do you have DOT and MC numbers?
That's a sweet paint job.....I'm looking to paint my truck.....did someone do that for you? Was it reasonable?
Then there is someone else up your way with a deuce.
Someone on here told me you could use two jump boxes wired in series. I don't know if it works.
Slow charging is the best...If they are too low jumping the it could fry the batteries.
Do you think a 5 ton would fit? We could ride the roads through the NF as well, all legal and such.
There's a SS member in Princeton with a deuce that has a winch....that may come.
Surplus.....I will buy some tires from surplus, or put some really big aftermarket tires on it.....I dunno I will figure something out. Not too concerned they are not totally lost yet...new just old LOL.
Bought if out of the SCARNG there at FT Jackson. 6000 miles, 181 hours, rebuilt in 2009...
No one ever responded....We have a few guy a deuce, and Unimog/CUCV, and myself we can get together...That's kinda of a long haul for you.
I should not go too far from home or too rough, baby needs new tires. But whenever.
"Therefore, the 24v starter, should start with ~1,600 amps, with batteries wired in series or series parallel."
Does this help you out?
It's the part that is red in big letters.....and is underlined.
Hmmmm....I watched that auction like a HAWK...nice truck....
take an air hose for a glad hand along with a schrader value attachment and a 150 psi tire gauge....and a jug and funnel for fuel. And maybe a can of sea foam.
Check the fluids and for leaks before you leave.
Make sure the brakes...
