One thing I wanted to add is that I built a regulator circuit to power the Blue Tooth Receiver from the 24V supply.
The receiver uses +5v DC. I am adding a small circuit with a 7805 which will regulate the 24V to 5V. The heat will dissipate into the back of the speaker which is an excellent...
What I'm trying to do is install a Belkin Blue Tooth receiver inside one of my LS-671 speakers.
After reading the pin out on radio nerds, I figured it would be easy. There's lots of space inside the case so I figured if I can hook it up and put the receiver completely hidden inside the case so...
I have a 300 hrs MEP701A and have had problems with the fuel cutoff solenoid. It seems to de-energise intermittently. I check the AUX float in the tank and that is not it. I further checked the pins on the fuel tanks and also that didnt seems to uncover the problem. Does anyone know what...
Hi, Well I did the same but I used only 80w90 because if I had to drain the oil again I didnt want to throw out good lucas.
My noise quieted down significantly also infact the noise seemed to go away almost completely. There is just a very quiet rumble now. So this certainly has me conserned...
This is another way to protect the transfer case. (THEORY) One can get another air solenoid which activates upon any forward drive selection on the transmission shift lever (Just splice into that electrical connector). When in forward, the solenoid activates and supplies air to the front axle...
The transfer case controls front axle engagement and the selection of low-N-high. So this thread is claiming that it has a solution by removing the washer from the engagement lever. I'm wondering if the reverse problem in low gear is only with the front axles engaged. I assume yes or that...
I understand why and when it is good to activate the front axles but the design doesn't give the operator a choice on the front axles when low is engaged. So i'm trying to understand if there may have been a reason for that design. When in low, without the front axles engaged, is there no...
(continued) instead of allowing the driver to select when to engage front axles. Could a problem develop when driving in low gear without front axles engaged ? and then engage the front axles on the fly with the flip lever ? Could damage result ?
Ok, after a quick analysis and inspection. My lines are installed correctly. Air lines from the switch are routed to the frond axle activation valve on the back of the transfer case. Im still wondering if there is anything wrong by removing the washer. Wondering why the military would design...
I think I might need a new transfer case. Anyone have one for sale ? I'll take it apart and see if I can fix it first. Does anyone have experience overhauling these transfer cases on the 939 series? This one is on a 1990 BMY Harsco M923a2.
Yes Noise
Yes this is the grinding noise that immediately caused me to search for an answer and change all the fluids. I don't have an answer yet as to where the noise is coming from... It may be bearings in transfer case..
Take a look. I just changed my transfer case oil today on my M923A2 (80W90 Gear Oil)..
Take a look at this plug with metal filings on them. Should I have it inspected? is this normal for metal shavings ?
