How in the heck are you supposed to fill the rear reservoir on this thing. I am going to rebuild the airpack and master and while I was reading the TM and scoping it out I noticed the cap. Also, my fluid looks like a tequila sunrise in the master. WTH is that about?
I couldnt find this in the search...
For the past week or so I have been getting a brake fluid smell in the cab of the truck. Now for the past couple of days I have a "half" pedal but can bring the pedal to the top with one pump. So, today someone flags me and says I have no brake lights. When I...
It's a little different from what I've seen on these trucks, but I was having a hard time dealing with what to do over the tan. It was a lot harder to put on the truck than what was in my head with spray cans but I think it turned out pretty good. Desert storm truck = desert camo.
Or you could show up at a meeting with a bag of doughnuts and a big smile on your face and let them know you are a nice guy with a big toy who wants to be a part of the community. Offer to come up with a reasonable comprimise. Just my .02.
I want some troop seats and cargo cover for my drop side, a reasonably priced winch, or some bumper extensions. Anybody have a good salvage yard preferrably in the southeast?
I've been reading all the fdc posts here lately and something is confusing. The above article says to increase fuel 16 flats with the stop plate bolt, but, it also says to turn the drop screw 2 turns to decrease fuel. I could swear everybody said to turn the fuel down to cool the egt's. What...
Saweet! All filters were jammed up with this thick chewy goopy residue. What a mess. The pump screen was almost completely blocked. I don't know what Warner robbins used for fuel but it sucked! Thanks for the info guys.
I beat on a ndt tire all day one time and when I finally broke down and called a pro, it was an old dude with a squirt bottle of gas and pic-axe. The gasoline breaks the rubber down at the bead and it fell off with a couple of whacks. For 4 tires He said "$100 plus tip"... best $150 I ever spent
I did a bunch of searching but couldn't get all the answers I was looking for. I have been having the "low rpw" problem since I've had it but today it threw me a curve ball. I was going to get filters but I was getting plenty of return fuel to the tank so I was hesitant to change them just yet...
Thanks for the welcome. After putting up with me building rockcrawlers harleys and hotrods, my family either really loves me, or they have another one somewhere else.
Air force truck from warner robbins. Its very straight and everything works. I did a 715 a while back on 44s and regretted getting rid of it. This will do the trick!
