My comment was tongue in cheek. I'm not going the auction route, but even so I know I'll have to have a little more money in the bank to deal with what ever I find, including the routine maintenance. What I can do myself will be part of the hobby.

What Alternator is This? I'm ignorant of electrical engine stuff so maybe the parts on top aren't part of the alternator itself?
