Ok, I know I need a different back spacing so the rims will clear the tierod end. Does ANYONE have any experience with doing this? It will be going on my M1031 contact truck. Will I need a lift? I am trying to do this as cheap as possiable. Any input would be great!
Thanks for the help!

Nick, I have heard that the bows that fit the M37 are for the older style trailer (before the M101). I am not FOR SURE because I have not researched it myself. Post up what you find out. I love getting no-crap knowledge.
Want to bump this thread a little bit too. Does anyone know where I can get a set of "new style" bows? My old wooden ones are in need of replacement (they are a little over 40 years old). I would rather have a set of fiberglass ones to help support the tarp and use the "woodies" for shows only...
Found a brand new tranny in mine. Also came with working PTO generator, welder, and air compressor. I have found odds and ends in all the boxes. I guess no one really went through it that much.
I would like some parts off of it if you decide to scrap it. Does it have the electrical "junction box"? Not the main box with all the outlets, it's in the same bin but mounted on the right hand side. If so, I would be VERY interested in buying it off of you. Just PM me.
Nick,
I have noticed that there are two kinds of screws. There are the phillips screws that are for the inside of the bow pockets and then there are the larger flat tip screws. Both of them use the "self seating" nuts that go into the wood. I need about a dozen of each screw complete with nuts.
Thank you. I was having **** finding a TM, but finally got a ETM disc with all the CUCV TM's and P's on there. I appreciate the help and reference. I will start reading up. All I need to find now is the TM on how to PMCS/operate/shut down/repair the PTO and components on the 1031 contact truck...
