It fires right up when I crank it but only runs for 5 seconds before it starts to die off so I don't think holding it in start will make much of a difference. I do hold start long enough to get oil pressure though.
Pulled return line and I get a nice stream of diesel.
Cracked the first injector line after the filter open and sound on prime pump changed.
Bled it for a second, closed and started normally.

Thank you.
I ran the test on the relay before I pulled it and it failed which is what prompted me to pull it.
When I applied 24v to X I got a “clunk.” When I activated the s5 to open I got a clunk but no changes. When I switched to closed there was no change.
I removed it, sprayed it...
I finally got everything running on the 803a so I figured I would hook it up to the house to see what it would do.
After wiring everything up, I started slowly flipping breakers on to put a load on the generator. Eventually I had all of the breakers on to include the Air conditioner which has...
Open the two screws on top of the filter and push air through. Then crack each injector nozzles open while the fuel pump is running.
After I close everything it starts and runs fine.

Starter relay installed and everything works!
Now to find out why it seems as though I’m losing some prime.
I have to bleed the system to get it to run for some reason.
Checking all my connections now.

Thanks Chainbreaker. If this were in the states then I would. On the island, nobody has seen a government official in over a month. BPL hasn't even come on the island yet to look at the damage.
I've got some time thankfully. I'll go back over in November and take care of it then...
Good continuity from ground to x2.
Looking at the wiring diagram it would appear that this is also the reason why the fuel solenoid will hold open when I manually open it but it won't open automatically.
Now to find a K2 relay...
That would make sense. My house is the only house in the area and I have vacant lots on all sides. What is considered my driveway is actually a "Crown road" that has overgrown at the end and been closed off to the opposite street.
Got 24v at k2.
K18 has both the wires for the preheat and a positive to the starter on it.
Getting 24v on both sides of the lugs.

I flew over to the Bahamas yesterday to drop off more supplies and was able to get a quick look at my electrical box and power panel yesterday.
Somebody was kind enough to take the tree off of it. Now I can see where the actual meter is connected closest to my house with the circuit breaker...
OK. I found K2 but it looks like a small lightweight relay. Not a starter solenoid.
When I get a chance I will check that for voltage and report back. I greatly appreciate your help. Trying to read the schematics on PDF and flipping back-and-forth is difficult to say the least.
I flew a load...
