I just had my regulator go out on my m925 a few days ago. I tested the output voltage and it was 35v, luckly I didn't fry anything. Now all I need is a new regulator.
Today I got some batteries for my truck, put them in and it fired right up. Since I work at a large truck dealership I was able to get 2 large truck batteries for free. I searched through the shops batterie core pile and tested about 30 batteries to see if I could find 2 good ones and I did...
I will probably switch over to four batteries or 2 large ones. I still haven't decided which to use yet but I know the set up I have right now is not working. The only reason I had the two batteries is because that is what the truck came with and it seemed to work ok up until today.
Today I went out to try to start my m925a1 and the batteries were dead. I only have 2 batteries in it and at 25 degrees thats not enough juice to turn over the engine. I even charged them each for one hour and that didn't help. I guess I am going to need some new batteries and hopefully a...
I did this install to my truck except I had all the hydraulics already. Be careful when you undo the hood spring in order to get the frame extension pieces on. The spring will be a pain to get bolted back in place. That was the only hard part of the install, just be careful when undoing it.
My truck has the ISO bed on it and i love the multiple drop down sides. I have loaded it up full with sticks and branches and the higher sides help hold in the loads better. You will really like that bed, it is very versatile.
All you have to do is take the handles off (inside and outside). Then open the access panel on the door and you should be able to feel the mechanism up in the door. Take the screws out (3) right by the inside handle. Then take the screw out to towards the latch. Lastly take out the 2 screws...
I insulated the firewall with some insulation to help keep the engine heat from getting in the cab.
I took out the seats and battery box along with all the old insulation on the back part of the cab. When I tore out the floor mat I found some nasty rust. Near the fuel pedal there were about 3...
This truck is used up at our local lake, its a 5 ton though but same idea. I have thought of this before but have not really thought about it. The only way I would use it is in snow. We have a cabin in colorado and during the winter months it is always snowed in, the road to the cabin is an 7...
There is a site called "keepvid" all you do is copy the URL from the youtube video to the site and click download. It will ask you what format you want the video in (mp4) usually works. Then you have to choose where the video needs to be saved on the computer. I have used this site before and it...
Why didn't you just buy a lock and chain at a hardware store on your way back? I rather have spent $10-$15 on a lock than sleep in the cab over night. Just my 1.5 cents. Anyway cool story/adventure!:D
Ok so yesterday arpund 2 I went to go get the new part for my truck. We used the puller and with a few wacks of the hammer they popped right out. Then we drove the 2 hour drive up to my truck and started working on it. We got the castlenuts off and soaked them in wd-40. Then we put the puller on...
