HELP!!! 12VDC Trailer Lights on 24VDC Deuce

When I asked about the part number of the trailer light bulbs I had JRBAMATEX's trailer bulbs in mind. My fault, I didn't state who I was addressing. So... JRBAMATEX: What is the part number of your 12v trailer light bulbs? Or are they marked with the power rating (in watts?) Westfolk...

    deuce water truck

That's about three tons of water. If you kept adding bottles, I wonder which limit you would reach first, space in the bed or the 5-ton rating? - Allen

    Electrical mystery

Cranetruck is amping up the humor, but be careful; That can meet with resistance from those who don't get a charge out of it.

    Electrical mystery

Boatcarpenter: You can put "dead short" back in your vocabulary. Your understanding and use term was correct. Here is a definition: from: http://www.answers.com/topic/dead-short The definition says zero resistance, but of course that must also really mean near-zero resistance. That seems...

Arctic Grille Cover on, How to create a good looking Avatar?

Ok, the problem with the cropped exhaust stack is fixed :D. I used iPhoto on a Mac. Comparisons of how close the avatar image file size is to the limit are not a useful indication of image quality. The size in bytes of the cropped and scaled avatar image is determined predominantly by the...

Arctic Grille Cover on, How to create a good looking Avatar?

If the image is cropped before it is scaled then the truck itself occupies more of the frame. Examples attached. I like the background, the original image is nicely composed, but the 160 x 160 pixel constraint imposes a tradeoff between more background or a larger and clearer truck.
