i know on my truck if you do not give it some gas and keep it running, it wont start after that first attempt if it dies. Once it cuts off i can crank it over for minutes and nothing.. Idk if its similar to that..
Yeah i thought it looked pretty goos myself. Its a good place to store them adn easy to access. And yes, both bumpers are painted flat black, adn the lift shackler are painted with red lead paint; which is actually orange. She did awesome! Thanks man.
hopefully its just dirt. It shure was making a nasty CLUNKing and noise when the truck was shifted from foward to reverse, granted its in 4-low but it didn't sound right..
yeah the flap is working properly, and the heater core is heating up. It is an aluminum heatercore. It was on there when we baught the truck. Should we take it back and buy a copper one?
yeah we have done the same exact things.. shecked everything under the dash, and still nothing jumps out. i jsut dont ge thow some trucks will drive you out of the cab because its too hot, and others (such as ours) will hardly melt away the morning frost. Its a real PITA! The heater hoses are...
yup when we first got the truck we replaced the t-stat adn still no heat.. so we baught another t-stat thinking the first one was bad, but they both work ed properly and the fan clutch is also working properly. I'm wondering if the army has different heater cores for different climates.. we did...
Ok, i have no heat and idk what to do. We have tried everything. The heater core is clean, i have taken it off and blown through it, no problems there. The radiator is clean. I plugged the radiator where the heater hose comes out and on the water pump installed a 45 degree threaded hose fitting...
alright, so we jsut got back from our trip. The truck ran awesome, and performed just as well. The drivers side hub is making soem weird noises... im thinking it may be the U-joint. It's probably time i replace the front u-joints and the ones in the front drive shaft. other than that it was a...
yeah i will be sure to post pics. With the np205 the 4-wheel low isn't all that low, but im sure she will still do fine. Plus, having the locker in the rear and the posi in the 60 we should get around pretty well. we have a few nice trials on our property that we take the truck down, so im...
Well, we are taking our m1028 to All Wheels Off road park in Lewiston maine. It should be interisting being the truck is stock, running 255/85-r16 KM2's. I will post some pics soon.
Hi, i was having some trouble finding the proper lift to suit my needs. For the rear i thought of doing and ORD shackle flip.. either 2 1/2 inch or go 4 inch. What i need help with is finding out what to do with the front of the truck. i dont really want to use blocks, but i sapose i will if i...
Hi, i am the owner of a 86 m1028A1 and was thinking about getting a lift. A 4 inch shackle flip in the rear and lift springs in the front would most likely be the set-up we would go with. The question i have is would the 4 inch HD tuff country lift springs be able to handle the load of a snow...
i was thinking about going with some HD tuff country 4" lift springs, but being in maine we ned a plow on our truck to plow our driveway. Im just unsure if the springs will be able to support the weight of the plow and if they can, how much they will sag?
