I was at the local Sherwin Williams place asking about CARC - He told me he had a gallon each of green, brown and black but they were a few months past their shelf life and couldn't be used on a government contract. I told him it was for personal use and got them at discount for $30 ea...
Thanks for the comments guys. I have attached a few more plus a quick video of the truck pulling over the garage.
We all work for a DoD Contractor that employs many retired military guys, so we are very closely knit. It was also good to see so many youth volunteering their time to help.

It comes in handy after a tornado. And it'll pull down a garage.
I was lucky - no damage at my place, but a buddy of mine wasn't.
EF-4 North Huntsville (Kelly Springs).
We had a similar front pintle setup on our M1008 in Germany back in the 80's for ground handling AH-64s/UH-60s. Much easier to push aircraft around facing forward!
Ordered a 2" lift from the two months ago. Flip kit is here, still waiting on the front springs and shocks. Was told they are on backorder. You might want to ask about availability before you order anything from them.
Well, it's not cheap - $3k for the unit plus a new driveshaft. Final ratio in 3rdOD is 3:56 and I am running 33" tires. I haven't checked mileage, but it has to be better than stock. It's very easy to install - I did it by myself in an afternoon. Yeah, I know, the price sucks, but the truck is...
Added a new seat cover, dash pad, arm rests, window gaskets, painted door panels, herculined the floor, semi "hidden" stereo with two accessory outlets, Yamaha indoor/outdoor speakers, and new 33" BFG MTs on '05 Chevy wheels.
Like Barrman said, it was just a cheepie from Harbor Freight. Just hook it to the IP line after everything is hooked up and pump it till the fuel comes out steady and then pop the line off the pump and jam it on the IP hard line. works like a champ
My truck was sucking air and very hard to start, so I replaced all of the rubber lines, got a spin-on filter, then bled everything using a hand operated vacuum pump - used primarily for bleeding brakes ($10 at Harbor Freight) - to draw the fuel all the way up to the IP line. It worked great -...
I just finished installing one on my 1008 a few weeks ago. It works great and I can go 70mph without the engine sounding like it's ready to come apart.
Yup, same thing. Run it behind the balancer pulley, then on the PS pump. You can also totally remove the bottom adjusting bolt to give it a little extra pivot. Definately PITA.
If you decide to do a spin-on fuel filer conversion, you can use a hand operated vacuum pump (the same kind for bleeding brakes) to draw fuel from the tank and through the new element. Just hook the hand pump to the filter's output fitting to the IP and pump it a couple dozen times until you get...
