The last two days I have been installing a 4 inch lift on my m1009 and I am still not done
Nearly every part has fought me tooth and nail the only part that came off easy was the shocks It looks good though I will post pics when its all done
I have finished off the rockers that the rust didn't bent the rear bumper into the sheet metal passenger side door has several dents and the passenger side exhaust is falling off
I was going to fix the rust but I'm not sure now
I ordered a lift to try to slow the progression of body damage
considering they came thats the way they came yes it would be okay
A cold air intake might help a little but the filter is inside so it doesn't hurt anything with it being like that
I replaced my injection pump and now the glow plug light doesn't come on I broke one of the ground wires on the intake but i replaced it and it still doesn't work
Any ideas?
the 6.5 will bolt up fine to a turbo 400 the 6.2 and 6.5 engines are very similar. I know a lot of HMMWV had the turbo 400 but I am not sure if that was only behind the 6.2
I have optima yellow tops in my duramax I think they are great batteries in this heat
The yellow & blue tops are the same just different terminals for marine application
I just changed my injection pump and saw the connection on the side of the tps was cracked I did the same thing sliding the hoses directly over and now the tranny shifts great
Ah jeez the pump has to come back out aua
I had tried pulling it out of the old one but it didnlt seem to want to come so I figured it was more complex than that
and I saw pictures of pumps without them so I figured they just changed designs
Do all DB2 injection pumps have the spring loaded shaft protruding from the front (where the timing gear bolts on) of the pump in the center I bought a used one and it does not have this and I have seen pictures of other that look the same but my old injection pump did have this shaft
My new...
I agree it should at least have a diesel otherwise it is just a blazer with a camo paint job
I also have no idea why you would replace the turbo 400 for a turbo 350
