I pounded out the studs and started pounding them back in the same way.... took till the 4th one to notice.
On the front since the axle is in backwards, when I flipped the knuckles, repacked bearings and new seals....I forgot to switch sides for the hubs, so the...
I would replace all the seals, and the little cork (or use silcone).
It is really really simple and you cant mess it up.
I have mine apart ready to go back together right now (hub flip)

I was just inside my front axle. If you look at the shaft, there is a spot where it rubs against the spindle, and also on the housing. I packed mine full of grease as I dont like metal on metal contact.
Some off-road guys are running these axles with no boots or grease in the knuckles, but...
the 1 1/2 ton trailers are meant for behind the 2 1/2 ton trucks. All the air and electrical is there.
As far as the towing, use the gooseneck, make sure your load is adjusted for proper weight.
Please verify your trailer brakes work before ever leaving home on this journey.
