I'm in muscle shoals Alabama and might could work something out with you. I own a fully furnished fab shop, I have not bobbed a deuce personally but I'm going to tackle one for myself in the near future.
I have driven it with the muffler and I'll say it's a welcome difference. If the muffler cost 150+ I'd say it ain't worth it. But given that it was 60.00 with a band clamp it's a cheap effective mod. Still loud but killed the "pop". Still whistles good. Can actually walk around it talking...
What's the a3 instrument differences that makes it an upgrade?
I installed my dyno max muffler, changed fuel filters and made a new top plate for my winch.
Come on down brother. Lived here all my life.
I fixed my cab heater today, painted my grill, installed grill, fixed brake lights. Realized the engine will never warm up in 28* weather. I need to make a winter cover for it
Yeah my "JACK" made that job easy. I used a Komatsu forklift to set the tires on the hubs and it went together fast. Only complaint I have is those big tires turned my hot little deuce into a slow moving farm implement!!! Gonna change filters, add a pyro, and turn it up a little. Next weekend I...
Got my 395 MRAPs mounted on my adapter plates and got them on the truck.
Got my winch mounted. Didn't get it and the bumper painted but got it all bolted on tight. Got all the frame extensions, shackles, shake mounts, and frame rails cleaned and painted.
Oh wow. Well yeah it helps to have tools to handle this large stuff. I put the tires on today. It took a track hoe to lift, a forklift to manage the wheels and a large service truck for the air tools!!!
And for anyone who wonders 395's brand new like less than an inch touching!!!!
The extensions are ok I believe they have all the bolt holes. The shaft I can build I own a fab shop, I also cut out my wheel adapters today.
Sadly all I got was the winch but I only paid 250 for it. I got a line on levers and a pto. Man may have a shaft too.
bought a winch with front bumper attached, cable and tail chain, and extensions, got it loaded and home, bought 6-24 bolt MRAP wheels and tires still wrapped in cellophane, pick them up in the morning. fixed my electric wipers where they no longer slap the frames, painted arms flat black...
Lets start with the thing that annoys me most,.... i have an electrical gremlin that just came up, a short somewhere is causing me to loose all running lights all headlights and panel lights, plainly heard the circuit breaker in 3 lever switch kick out. so i disassembled the entire switch...
thanks tom i have a local who has a military grave yard, i may try and source him first but if i cant find one you will be my go to guy. i love your kit but my one concern is when i go 395s will that box on the outer frame hit?
