@Bob H , I sure hope they can fix it . They have issued me a GA title with the dash vin on it. I have not regestered it with the state of FL yet . I am going to call Russells first , they were great to deal with and I am sure that they will make things good.
switching the data plate does seem a little more practical ....lol
I went out to the truck and removed the plate , and there is some paint on it that is a totally difrent color than any of the many coats of paint that I can see.

Thanks in advance. I can only find one data plate on my dash that has any thing on it. Only problem is that the VIN on my dash does not match the one on the frame. The vin on the dash is what is on my bill of sale and not the one on the frame, and I have not registered this...

When I bought my truck there were no markings on the bumpers of it. The only markings were stenciled on both of the doors on the inside. Looks as the inside of the truck has never been repainted. Its still od and where worn there are no other colors underneath , just metal. Was hoping to find...
So I looked at the problem with the transfer case this afternoon , and its definitely coming from the TC shift. Looks like it can be accessed from a door above ??

Took my truck out this weekend and had never put it into low , so I decided to try it out. Drove it around the yard in low and it seemed to work great.Went in and out of hi/low with no problem.
So Sunday I drove the truck to work noticed that shifting from 2nd to 3rd made a slight click noise...
