As far as your open gap on the B pillar to X door contact, I think there is a B-Pillar piece that attaches directly to the B-Pillar and it is used on the hard top configuration...but can be used with soft top and I'm pretty sure it takes care of the gap in question. I hope so because I'm doing...

If all linkage is ok, then you probably have an internal trans problem. In reverse it sounds like two elements are applied at same time. More then likely the forward clutches are welded together....sorry my SS brother for bad news..:x

Fellow SS, I am in the same exact boat as you, installing 4 place Vic-1 system in my HMMWV. I have all of the hardware with the exception of the mount bracket for the AM1780 as well. So maybe we can take this journey on together..lol..!! i will be using mount trays for my RT524 and R442 and so...

Outstanding.....!!!...you now have taken care of the front tire alignment but what about the rear tire alignment..?? All HMMWV's are four wheel alignment by design...so if you had a problem with the front there is a good chance that rear is out of spec's as well. It's a lot cheaper to get a 4...
