I use AMSOIL. expensive, but once a year oil changes, better in cold weather for engine, tansmission and gear oils. I was hesitant to use it, but wont use anything else now.

chance are, the new card will get burnt out again. your best option.... is to install a momentary switch. where you push the button in 10 - 15 seconds, release, then,- start the truck. this way you know 100% that the glow plugs will not be turned on while you are driving.

i have the 700R4 behind a 6.5 NA motor. in the final stages of a complete restoration. Will let you know how it is once driven for a little while.

I had a nartron box that was new and NO GOOD. Try this, with all the glow plug wires unplgged from the glow plugs. Put the key on and put a test light to the GPC connection. 1 wire should have power. If you have power there, plug it in (diconnect batteries before doing this)and then check a glow...

I have a 6.5 IP that is leaking, was rebuilt motor and appears that the underside of the IP was cracked then welded. does anyone know if the 6.2 IP or Artic kit 6.2 IP will work on a NA 6.5L motor? both are mechanical, but with the 6.5 having a bigger piston, not sure if the Arctic IP will work...

When you install any of the boxes, are your batteries COMPLETLY disconnected? You CANNOT install a PCB with batteries connected, you will blow the inside of the PCB. The plugs are poorley designed and will short out the PCB. try this next time and let us know. Also, if you are using a GPC, that...

If you changed the timing, you should really check the crank pulley bolt and make sure it did not loosen up. This happened to me and wore the keyway out. This could be why your injector pump timinh is off.
